Sioux Chief ETP™ Electronic Trap Primer – Surface Mount, Single Outlet

The Sioux Chief 695-ES01 is a surface-mounted electronic trap primer designed to automatically replenish water in floor drain traps, preventing sewer gases from entering occupied spaces. The unit features a programmable electronic controller, integral solenoid valve, vacuum breaker, shutoff valve, and MiniRester™ water hammer arrester for reliable operation. Factory-set to deliver approximately 2 oz. of water daily, the primer's activation frequency and duration can be adjusted to meet installation requirements. It is suitable for commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, restaurants, and other facilities where floor drains require automatic trap seal maintenance.

Usage

Designed to maintain water seals in floor drain traps automatically, the electronic trap primer periodically releases water into the drain to prevent trap evaporation and sewer gas infiltration. It is commonly installed in commercial plumbing systems serving mechanical rooms, restrooms, janitorial closets, hospitals, schools, laboratories, and other buildings where infrequently used floor drains require continuous protection.
