5M- Press Ball Valve LF With Drain

The 5M Full Port Press Ball Valve with Drain is a lead-free forged brass full-port ball valve designed for copper press piping systems. It features press connections on both ends for fast, flame-free installation on ASTM B88 copper tubing using a compatible press tool. An integrated drain port allows the downstream section of the system to be safely drained after the valve is closed, making maintenance and repairs faster and more efficient. The full-port design provides maximum flow with minimal pressure loss, while the quarter-turn lever handle delivers smooth, dependable shutoff for potable water, hydronic heating, and mechanical piping systems.

Usage

This valve is installed inline on copper press piping to isolate branch lines, pumps, water heaters, manifolds, and other mechanical equipment. After closing the valve, the integrated drain port can be opened to relieve pressure and drain the isolated section without emptying the entire plumbing or hydronic system. The press ends create a permanent mechanical connection without soldering, making the valve ideal for residential, commercial, and institutional plumbing installations.
