5M - PRESS x PEX BALL VALVE - BLUE/RED

The 5M Full Port Ball Valve – Press × Crimp PEX is a lead-free forged brass transition ball valve designed to connect copper press systems to ASTM F1807/F2159 crimp PEX tubing. It features a press connection on one end for copper tubing and a PEX crimp barb connection on the other, providing a fast, secure, and solder-free transition between copper and PEX plumbing systems. The full-port design maximizes water flow while minimizing pressure loss, and the quarter-turn lever handle delivers quick and dependable shutoff. Available with blue or red handles, the valve allows easy identification of cold- and hot-water supply lines.

Usage

This valve is used where a copper press water line transitions to a PEX crimp plumbing system while providing a reliable isolation point for maintenance and repairs. The press end is installed using a compatible copper press tool and jaw, while the PEX barb is secured using a copper crimp ring or stainless steel clamp ring. It is ideal for residential and commercial potable-water systems, manifolds, branch lines, water heaters, mechanical rooms, and plumbing renovations.
