Product Description
The 5M Full Port Ball Valve – Sweat × Sweat is a lead-free forged brass shut-off valve designed for permanent installation in copper plumbing systems. Featuring sweat (solder) connections on both ends, the valve creates a secure, leak-free joint while providing unrestricted flow through its full-port design. Available with blue or red quarter-turn lever handles for easy identification of cold and hot water lines, the valve is constructed with a chrome-plated brass ball, PTFE seats, and a blowout-proof stem to deliver smooth operation, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting reliability in potable water and hydronic heating applications.
Usage
This valve is installed in copper piping systems to isolate plumbing fixtures, branch lines, water heaters, pumps, manifolds, and mechanical equipment for maintenance or repairs. Both ends are soldered directly to copper tubing, creating a durable permanent connection. The quarter-turn lever provides fast shut-off, while the blue and red handle options allow quick identification of cold and hot water lines in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
