Usage

The Aqua-Dynamic 3240-150 is installed inline on the discharge pipe above a sump pump. The reversible flexible couplings are positioned to fit either 1-1/4-inch or 1-1/2-inch pipe and secured using the four included corrosion-resistant clamps. When the pump operates, discharge pressure opens the internal valve and allows water to flow away from the sump basin. When the pump stops, the valve closes automatically to prevent water remaining in the discharge line from flowing back into the pit. This reduces unnecessary pump cycling and helps limit wear on the pump motor and switch.
