The LEO USC56W-1 is a heavy-duty 3/4 HP automatic submersible sewage pump designed for residential and light commercial sewage removal, wastewater transfer, and septic basin applications. Constructed with a rugged cast iron housing and volute, the pump features a clog-resistant nylon vortex impeller capable of passing solids up to 2 inches in diameter. Its oil-filled permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor provides efficient, quiet operation while the piggyback tethered float switch automatically starts and stops the pump based on basin water levels. Delivering up to 6,400 GPH (107 GPM), the USC56W-1 is ideal for sewage ejector basins, basement bathrooms, septic systems, and wastewater lift stations.

Usage

The LEO USC56W-1 is installed inside sewage ejector basins and lift stations to pump sewage, wastewater, and effluent from plumbing fixtures located below the main sewer line. Typical installations include basement bathrooms, laundry rooms, utility sinks, septic systems, crawl spaces, and residential wastewater transfer applications. As wastewater rises inside the basin, the adjustable tethered piggyback float switch automatically activates the pump. The high-capacity vortex impeller then moves wastewater and solids through the 2-inch discharge piping. Once the liquid reaches the preset shut-off level, the float switch turns the pump off automatically, providing reliable unattended operation.
