The Little Giant 10EC-CIA-SFS is a heavy-duty 1/2 HP automatic submersible sump and light effluent pump engineered for residential and light commercial water removal applications. Featuring a durable epoxy-coated cast iron motor housing, polypropylene volute and base, and an integral snap-action vertical float switch, this pump provides reliable automatic operation while resisting corrosion. Powered by a continuous-duty permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor, the 10EC-CIA-SFS delivers up to 67 GPM with a maximum head of 36 feet and handles solids up to 1/2 inch in diameter. It is ideal for sump pits, foundation drainage, dewatering, and light effluent transfer applications.

Usage

The Little Giant 10EC-CIA-SFS is installed in residential sump basins, crawl spaces, foundation drainage systems, and light effluent applications where dependable automatic pumping is required. The integral snap-action vertical float switch automatically starts the pump as water rises and shuts it off once the basin has been emptied. Designed for continuous-duty operation, it is commonly used to remove groundwater, clear flooded basements, transfer clean or lightly contaminated water, and pump septic tank effluent containing soft solids up to 1/2 inch in diameter.
