Usage

The Little Giant 9SC-CIA-RF is installed inside a sewage ejector basin or wastewater lift station to remove sewage and effluent from plumbing fixtures located below the building’s gravity sewer connection. Common applications include basement bathrooms, laundry rooms, utility areas, residential additions, septic systems, and general wastewater dewatering. As the liquid rises, the tethered piggyback mechanical float switch activates the pump automatically. The vortex impeller then transfers wastewater and solids through the 2-inch FNPT discharge line. Once the basin reaches the float’s shut-off level, the switch stops the pump automatically. The piggyback plug also permits temporary manual pump operation when required.
