The Saniflo Sanicondens® 040 is a compact automatic condensate pump designed to remove acidic condensate from high-efficiency condensing boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, HVAC equipment, and water heating systems. Powered by a quiet 1/30 HP oil-filled motor, the pump automatically activates using an internal float switch and discharges condensate up to 15 feet vertically or 150 feet horizontally. The Sanicondens arrives complete with 20 feet of vinyl tubing, inlet and discharge adapters, mounting hardware, and an integrated non-return check valve for quick installation. Its compact design, low 44 dBA operating noise, and dependable automatic operation make it an ideal condensate removal solution for residential and light commercial mechanical rooms.

Usage

The Saniflo Sanicondens® is installed beneath or adjacent to condensing boilers, high-efficiency furnaces, HVAC air handlers, mini-split systems, air conditioners, and water heaters where condensate cannot drain by gravity. As condensate enters the 0.5-gallon reservoir, the internal float automatically activates the pump, transferring the condensate through the supplied 3/8-inch discharge tubing up to 15 feet vertically or 150 feet horizontally to a suitable drain. The unit includes a built-in check valve to prevent backflow and terminals for connection to an external overflow alarm or appliance shutoff switch for added protection.
