ZURN - Pressure Reducing Valve-1-NR3XL

The Zurn Wilkins NR3XL Water Pressure Reducing Valve is a lead-free bronze pressure reducing valve designed to automatically regulate high municipal water pressure to a safe, consistent downstream pressure for residential and commercial potable water systems. It features 1 in female NPT threaded connections, a corrosion-resistant UV-resistant composite bell housing, an integral stainless steel strainer to capture sediment, and a balanced piston design that maintains stable outlet pressure under varying flow conditions. The valve also incorporates an integral bypass to relieve pressure caused by thermal expansion, while its replaceable cartridge allows for fast maintenance and extended service life.

Usage

The NR3XL is installed on the main incoming water service to reduce and regulate water pressure before it enters the plumbing system. It protects plumbing fixtures, water heaters, appliances, valves, and piping from excessive pressure while helping reduce water consumption and minimizing pressure fluctuations.
