Usage

This valve is installed on a 1/2 in copper water supply line to provide individual shutoff control for appliances and fixtures using a 1/4 in compression supply tube. The sweat inlet is soldered onto copper tubing, while the compression outlet connects directly to the supply line without soldering. It is commonly used for refrigerator ice makers, reverse osmosis systems, water filtration units, coffee makers, humidifiers, and other small water-supplied appliances where a compact quarter-turn shutoff is required.
