5M - 1/4 TURN STRAIGHT STOP VALVE OD

The 5M 1/4 Turn Straight Stop Valve – F1960 PEX × OD Compression is a chrome-plated brass shutoff valve designed for direct connection to 1/2 in ASTM F1960 expansion PEX tubing. Its straight-pattern body keeps the incoming water line and fixture connection aligned in the same direction, while the OD compression outlet is available in 3/8 in and 1/2 in sizes. The quarter-turn ball-valve mechanism provides fast, dependable shutoff with a simple 90-degree handle movement.

Usage

This straight stop valve is used where a 1/2 in PEX-a supply line and the connected fixture or appliance supply tube run in line with one another. The F1960 expansion barb is installed using a compatible expansion ring and expansion tool, while the compression outlet connects to the appropriate OD supply tubing. It is suitable for faucets, toilets, water heaters, filtration equipment, appliances, and other residential or light-commercial water-supply applications.
