The 5M 1/4 Turn Straight Stop Valve with Straight Handle is a lead-free forged brass shutoff valve designed for PEX plumbing systems. It features a 1/2 in PEX barb inlet for crimp or clamp-ring installation and is available with either a 1/4 in OD or 3/8 in OD compression outlet for connecting standard fixture supply tubes. The straight valve body is ideal for installations where the supply line exits directly from the floor or continues in a straight line. A quarter-turn full-port ball valve provides smooth, reliable operation with a simple 90-degree handle rotation, while the chrome-plated finish offers long-lasting corrosion resistance and a clean professional appearance for residential and commercial potable water applications.

Usage

This valve is installed on a 1/2 in PEX water supply line to provide individual shutoff control for sinks, lavatories, toilets, bidets, refrigerators, ice makers, water filtration systems, coffee makers, and other plumbing fixtures. The PEX barb inlet connects to PEX tubing using copper crimp rings or stainless-steel clamp rings, while the compression outlet attaches directly to a fixture supply line. Its straight configuration is commonly used where the water supply comes up through the floor, allowing the fixture to be serviced without shutting off the water supply to the entire building.
