5M - 1/4 TURN STRAIGHT STOP VALVE WITH DRAIN

The 5M 1/4 Turn Straight Stop Valve with Drain – PEX × PEX is a lead-free forged brass shutoff valve designed for PEX plumbing systems requiring both isolation and draining capability. It features 1/2 in F1807 PEX barb connections on both the inlet and outlet for installation with copper crimp rings or stainless-steel clamp rings. The integrated drain (bleed) port allows the downstream section of the plumbing system to be safely drained after the valve is closed, making it ideal for servicing, winterization, and maintenance. A quarter-turn full-port ball valve provides smooth, dependable operation with a simple 90-degree handle rotation, while the chrome-plated finish offers long-lasting corrosion resistance for residential and commercial potable water systems.

Usage

This valve is installed inline on 1/2 in F1807 PEX water supply lines where both shutoff and downstream draining are required. After closing the valve, the integrated drain port can be opened to relieve pressure and drain water from the isolated section of piping. It is commonly used on branch water lines, irrigation systems, hydronic equipment, water treatment equipment, seasonal plumbing, and other installations where piping must be serviced or protected from freezing without shutting off the building's entire water supply.
