Aqua Dynamic - STOP VALVE W/DRAIN 3/4 COMPRESSION LEAD FREE -1195-614

The Aqua-Dynamic 1195-614 Stop & Waste Valve is a lead-free brass straight shut-off valve designed to control flow through a 3/4 in water line while allowing the downstream section to be drained after closure. Its compression × compression connections provide solderless installation on compatible tubing, while the side drain cap releases water from the non-pressurized side for seasonal shutdowns, repairs, or maintenance. The valve features a durable cast-iron handwheel, a maximum working pressure of 125 psi, and an operating temperature range of approximately -29°C to 93°C (-20°F to 199°F). It is CSA certified and complies with NSF/ANSI 372 lead-free requirements.

This valve is installed inline to isolate a fixture, branch line, outdoor supply, irrigation connection, or other section of piping. The compression nuts and ferrules secure the valve without soldering. During normal operation, the handwheel controls water flow. To service or winterize the downstream piping, close the valve first and then carefully open the drain cap to release water remaining on the non-pressure side. The drain should remain closed whenever the system is operating under pressure.
