Usage

The Little Giant LG-SC33SA is installed inside residential sump pits to remove groundwater collected by perimeter drains and foundation drainage systems. As water rises in the basin, the integrated snap-action float automatically starts the pump. Water is discharged through the 1-1/2-inch FNPT outlet to an approved exterior drainage point. Once the water level falls, the float switch automatically shuts the pump off. The pump is intended for clean water and light drainage applications in basements, crawl spaces, utility rooms, and new home construction. It is not designed for sewage service but is capable of passing spherical semi-solids up to 1/2 inch
