5M - Add-A-Stop Adapter

The 5M Add-A-Stop Compression Tee Adapter converts an existing 3/8 in compression shutoff valve into a dual-outlet connection for supplying two fixtures or appliances from one water line. Its chrome-plated brass construction provides corrosion resistance and a clean appearance for exposed installations. The female swivel compression inlet attaches directly to the existing stop-valve outlet, while the two 3/8 in compression connections accept compatible fixture supply tubes. This compact adapter provides a practical retrofit solution without cutting pipe or replacing the existing shutoff valve. The installed shutoff controls water flow to both connected outlets.

This adapter is commonly installed beneath kitchen or bathroom sinks when an additional water connection is needed for a faucet, dishwasher, water filtration system, humidifier, or similar appliance. Disconnect the existing supply line from the 3/8 in compression stop, attach the adapter’s female swivel inlet to the valve, and reconnect the original supply line to one outlet. Connect the additional supply tube to the second outlet and check all compression joints for leakage after restoring water pressure.
