5M - Add-A-StopTee Stop

The 5M Add-A-Stop Tee Stop Valve is a lead-free chrome-plated brass compression valve that adds a second independently controlled water outlet to an existing 3/8 in compression shutoff valve. Unlike a standard Add-A-Stop adapter, this model incorporates a built-in quarter-turn ball valve, allowing the branch outlet to be shut off without interrupting water flow to the primary fixture. The female swivel inlet threads directly onto an existing compression stop valve, while the main outlet reconnects the original fixture supply line and the branch outlet supplies an additional appliance such as a dishwasher, refrigerator ice maker, reverse osmosis system, coffee machine, or water filter. The compact design enables quick retrofit installation without cutting pipes or replacing the existing shutoff valve.

Usage

Install the Add-A-Stop Tee Stop onto the outlet of an existing 3/8 in compression shutoff valve. Reconnect the original fixture supply tube to the straight-through outlet and connect the secondary appliance to the branch outlet. The integrated quarter-turn ball valve provides independent control of the added branch, making servicing or replacing the connected appliance possible while leaving the main fixture in operation. It is commonly installed under kitchen and bathroom sinks to add water supplies for dishwashers, refrigerators, water filtration systems, instant hot-water dispensers, and similar equipment.
