It features a 1/2 in copper sweat inlet for permanent soldered installation and a 3/8 in OD compression outlet for connecting standard fixture supply lines. The straight-body configuration is ideal for installations where the water supply enters directly from the floor or in-line with the fixture. Usage

This valve is installed on a 1/2 in copper water supply line to provide individual shutoff control for plumbing fixtures supplied by a 3/8 in OD compression supply tube. The sweat inlet is soldered directly onto copper tubing, while the compression outlet connects to a braided or rigid fixture supply line without soldering. Its straight configuration is commonly used where the supply pipe comes up through the floor or where an in-line connection is preferred, allowing the fixture to be isolated quickly for maintenance or replacement without shutting off water to the entire building.
