Usage

The Boshart BSC-125/150-DRS is installed vertically in the discharge pipe above a sump pump. Either end of each reducing rubber coupling can be oriented to fit 1-1/4-inch or 1-1/2-inch piping, allowing the valve to connect equal-size pipe or transition between the two sizes. When the pump runs, water pressure opens the internal flapper and allows discharge water to flow upward. When the pump stops, the flapper closes to prevent water in the discharge pipe from draining back into the sump pit. The rubber sleeves are positioned over the pipe ends and secured with the included stainless steel clamps.
