Usage

The Little Giant FBSE33-V-15 is installed inside residential sump pits or light effluent basins to remove groundwater, greywater, and light effluent containing semi-solids up to 3/8 inch. It is commonly used in basement sump systems, crawl spaces, utility rooms, foundation drainage systems, and septic effluent transfer applications. As the water level rises, the piggyback vertical float switch automatically starts the pump. The cast iron vortex impeller then transfers the collected water through the 1-1/2 inch FNPT discharge piping. Once the water level drops to the preset shut-off point, the float switch turns the pump off automatically. This model is intended for clear water and light effluent applications and is not designed for raw sewage service.
