Grundfos - Iso Valve kit

The Grundfos GF15/26 Isolation Valve Kit is a bronze dielectric flange-and-ball-valve set designed for installing and servicing flanged hydronic circulator pumps. Each kit includes two rotating pump flanges with full-port isolation ball valves, allowing the circulator to be removed without draining the complete heating or cooling system. EPDM flange gaskets and dielectric sleeves help create secure connections while reducing galvanic interaction between dissimilar metals. Available with 3/4-inch, 1-inch, and 1-1/4-inch FNPT pipe connections, this kit is compatible with Grundfos circulators using the standard GF15/26 two-bolt flange pattern, including many ALPHA, UP, UPS, and MAGNA models.

Usage

The Grundfos isolation valve kit is mounted on the inlet and outlet flanges of a compatible hydronic circulator. The threaded valve ends connect to the system piping, while the rotating two-bolt flanges align with the pump’s GF15/26 flange connections. During normal operation, both lever handles remain fully open to provide an unrestricted flow path. When the circulator requires replacement or maintenance, both valves are closed to isolate the pump from system pressure, allowing it to be removed without draining the entire hydronic loop. The included dielectric sleeves, EPDM gaskets, bolts, and nuts are installed between the valves and pump flanges to complete the connection.
