Tekmar -Zone Valve Control, 3-6 Zones with Priority

The Tekmar Zone Valve Control is a microprocessor-based hydronic zoning controller designed to operate 3, 4, 5, or 6 motorized zone valves from individual 24 VAC thermostats. The control automatically operates the system circulator whenever a zone valve opens and provides domestic hot water priority through Zone 1 when used with an indirect water heater. Additional features such as priority override, post purge, pump exercising, unlimited zone expansion, and RoomResponse™ communication improve system efficiency, reliability, and comfort in residential and light commercial hydronic heating applications.

The Tekmar Zone Valve Control serves as the central control panel for hydronic heating systems utilizing motorized zone valves. Each thermostat independently controls a heating zone while the controller automatically manages the corresponding zone valve, operates the system circulator, and signals the boiler when heat is required. Zone 1 can be dedicated to an indirect domestic hot water tank with selectable priority, while built-in pump exercising and post-purge functions improve equipment longevity and overall heating efficiency.
