The Watts LF7R Series Lead-Free Residential Dual Check Valve Backflow Preventer is a compact, lead-free backflow prevention device designed to protect potable water systems from backsiphonage and backpressure caused by non-health hazard cross-connections. Constructed with a durable lead-free brass body, it features two replaceable thermoplastic check modules with stainless steel springs to provide reliable reverse-flow protection. The valve includes a union female NPT inlet and female NPT outlet for simplified installation and servicing and is suitable for continuous pressure residential water service applications.

Usage

The LF7R Series is installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter or at individual plumbing fixtures where non-health hazard backflow protection is required. It helps prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the municipal drinking water supply while allowing normal forward water flow.
