5M - BALL VALVE FULL PORT SOLDER x PEX LEAD FREE

The 5M Full Port Ball Valve – Sweat × Crimp PEX is a lead-free forged brass transition ball valve designed to connect copper tubing to ASTM F1807/F2159 crimp PEX tubing. It features a sweat (solder) connection on one end and a PEX crimp barb connection on the other, making it ideal for transitioning between copper and PEX plumbing systems. The full-port design minimizes pressure loss and maximizes water flow, while the quarter-turn lever handle provides fast and reliable shutoff. Available with blue or red handles, the valve allows quick identification of cold- and hot-water lines.

Usage

This valve is used to transition from a copper water line to a PEX crimp distribution system while providing a convenient isolation point for maintenance and repairs. The sweat connection is soldered to copper tubing, and the PEX barb is secured using a copper crimp ring or stainless steel clamp ring on compatible PEX tubing. It is ideal for residential and commercial potable-water systems, water heaters, manifolds, branch lines, and general plumbing installations.
