WOODFORD - model 17 faucet lock - SL-17

The Woodford SL-17 Vandal-Resistant Stem Lock is a genuine OEM security accessory designed to prevent unauthorized operation of compatible Woodford freezeless wall faucets. The kit replaces the standard packing nut with a deep brass locking nut and uses a cylinder lock to secure the operating stem, converting the faucet into a vandal-resistant, tee-key-operated unit. The lock is easily unlocked with one of the two supplied keys, allowing the included tee key to operate the faucet only when authorized. It provides an effective solution for preventing water theft, vandalism, and unauthorized outdoor water use in residential, commercial, institutional, and municipal applications.

Usage

The SL-17 Stem Lock is installed on compatible Woodford freezeless wall faucets where access to outdoor water must be restricted. After installation, the faucet cannot be operated until the cylinder lock is removed with the supplied key. Once unlocked, the included tee key is used to open and close the faucet.
