The Cash Acme HG110-D Lead-Free Thermostatic Mixing Valve – Sweat is a lead-free thermostatic mixing valve engineered to blend hot and cold water to deliver a safe, consistent tempered water supply throughout residential and commercial domestic hot water systems. Featuring sweat (solder) copper connections with integral check valves, the HG110-D uses a temperature-actuated thermostatic element that continuously compensates for changes in inlet temperature and pressure to maintain a stable outlet temperature. Factory-set and locked at 120°F (49°C) with an adjustable range of 85°F–130°F (29°C–54°C), the valve allows water heaters to operate at higher storage temperatures to help reduce Legionella growth while supplying safe tempered water to fixtures.

Usage

This thermostatic mixing valve is installed at the water heater or central hot water distribution system to mix hot and cold water before supplying tempered water to plumbing fixtures. The sweat connections are soldered directly to copper tubing, creating a permanent installation, while the integral check valves help prevent crossflow between hot and cold supplies. The valve is ideal for homes, apartments, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, and other domestic hot water systems where scald protection and consistent water temperature are required.
