The Watts LF1170 Thermostatic Mixing Valve – Threaded is a lead-free master thermostatic mixing valve designed to blend hot and cold water to deliver a safe, consistent tempered water supply throughout residential and commercial domestic hot water systems. Featuring female NPT threaded connections on the hot, cold, and mixed water ports, the valve utilizes a solid wax hydraulic thermostat with a double-throttling design that continuously adjusts to changes in inlet temperature and pressure to maintain a stable outlet temperature. Integral check valves and filter washers help prevent crossflow and protect the internal components, while the valve automatically restricts mixed water flow in the event of a cold-water supply failure for enhanced user safety.

Usage
