ABS DWV fittings are the black solvent-weld drain, waste and vent fittings used in houses, townhomes and other low-rise buildings across Ontario: elbows, tees, wyes, double wyes, P-traps, couplings, cleanouts, toilet flanges, test tees, dishwasher adapters, caps and bushings. They join with ABS cement in seconds and are the standard low-rise drainage system.

Ontario contractors talk about two drainage grades. Low-rise work (houses, townhomes, buildings up to three storeys) is done in ABS DWV or in low-rise PVC DWV — the grade IPEX sells as System 15 — and MEKCO stocks both: the ABS line here and the Low Rise PVC line under PVC HR/LR Fittings. High-rise and non-combustible construction needs the flame-retardant 15/50-rated PVC DWV system contractors know as XFR; MEKCO's High Rise PVC line is that grade. Ask the counter which one your inspector expects, and we will pull the whole job from one aisle.

PVC SDR35 sewer and drain fittings for underground building drains and storm lines.

SDR35 is the thin-wall gasketed PVC sewer pipe system used for underground building drains, storm sewers and site drainage. The fittings — 22-1/2°, 45° and 90° elbows, wyes, couplings, repair couplings, adapters, bushings, caps and plugs — come in spigot and hub ends to match SDR35 pipe.

PVC drain, waste and vent fittings in both grades: Low Rise (the System 15 class) and High Rise (the flame-retardant XFR class).

PVC DWV fittings are the white solvent-weld drainage fittings used where PVC is specified instead of ABS. MEKCO carries them in two grades, kept apart so the right one lands on the job: Low Rise PVC DWV for houses and buildings up to three storeys — the grade IPEX sells as System 15 — and High Rise PVC DWV, the flame-spread 25 / smoke-developed 50 rated system required in high-rise and non-combustible construction, the grade contractors know as XFR.

Both lines carry the full fitting set: elbows (short and long sweep, spigot and hub), tees, double tees, wyes, P-traps and trap unions, couplings, line and end cleanouts with plugs, male and female adapters, bushings, caps and toilet flanges (standard, adjustable, inside-fit and with test cap). Matching High Rise and Low Rise PVC pipe is under Pipes.

Cold-expansion F1960 PEX fittings and expansion rings.

F1960 (cold-expansion) PEX fittings are installed by expanding the tubing and ring over the fitting; the tubing shrinks back for a full-flow joint. Elbows, tees, couplings, plugs and adapters in plastic, with the matching expansion rings.
